Unwrapping the New 40Acres. New UI, New trade execution engine, and new streaming rewards!

We know everyone’s excited about the new higher LTV vaults. And they are close to being complete but we also have to consider the complex dynamics between lenders, borrowers, and ecosystem partners in ways that traditional peer-to-peer lending simply do not. Managing risk remains our top priority and in these situations it is always better to lean on the side of caution.
This does not mean we have slowed down building! We’re using this moment to do a little house keeping to make the 40acres user experience even better.
New Trade Engine Coming
We will be rolling out a new and improved trade execution system. It has already been running smoothly for weeks on vePHAR and has already been audited. This unlocks more whitelisted pools, stronger APRs, and quicker loan repayments. You’ll start seeing this roll out over the next two weeks.
And feel free to let us know what pools you wanted whitelisted! We can add just about anything now.
vePHAR Growth and Streaming Rewards
vePHAR has grown from 1.6 million to nearly 4 million in assets since our last update. That growth is incredible. But with it came some bumps. Most of the recent friction came from how rewards were paid to lenders in the AVAX market. Rewards came in bursts, which made it hard to attract sustainable capital.
We fixed that.
USDC lender on avax will now have rewards streamed out evenly across the week, just like on Base and Optimism. This update went live yesterday. New deposits are already flowing in.
A New Look
The new UI is almost here. It still feels like 40Acres but sharper and more modern. Alongside it, we’re launching an updated stats page. Here are some early screenshots. And yes, I use light mode. Don’t judge me.
